R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Duylinh Nguyen has earned a degree in sociology from 
The University of Texas at Austin, and she may take great pride in 
her scholastic achievement; and
	WHEREAS, The daughter of Mai Dinh and Gio Nguyen, Ms. Nguyen 
has shown outstanding initiative and determination during her 
collegiate career; and
	WHEREAS, This public-spirited young woman will soon embark on 
a two-year journey with the Peace Corps to West Africa, where she 
will lead community development projects; and
	WHEREAS, Duylinh Nguyen represents the finest qualities of 
our state's young people, and it is indeed a pleasure to recognize 
her as she embarks on what promises to be a bright future; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Duylinh Nguyen on her graduation 
from The University of Texas at Austin and extend to her sincere 
best wishes for success in her work with the Peace Corps; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Nguyen as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
