H.B. No. 3425




AN ACT

relating to the use of certain exhibition vehicles.                           
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 504.502, Transportation Code, is amended 
by adding Subsection (j) to read as follows:
	(j)  It is an affirmative defense to prosecution of an 
offense under this section that at the time of the offense the 
vehicle was en route to or from a location for the purpose of 
routine maintenance of the vehicle.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
