                                                                  H.B. No. 3340




AN ACT

relating to surveys accepted for filing in the official records of 
the General Land Office.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 21.044, Natural Resources Code, is 
amended by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
	(d)  This section does not require the commissioner or a 
surveyor to make a new survey of land or a portion of the land after 
a survey of the land is accepted by the commissioner for filing in 
the official records of the land office.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
