AN ACT
relating to an order by a court that a judgment debtor turn over certain property for the satisfaction of the judgment. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 31.002, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, is amended by adding Subsection (h) to read as follows: (h) A court may enter or enforce an order under this section that requires the turnover of nonexempt property without identifying in the order the specific property subject to turnover. SECTION 2. This Act applies to the collection of any judgment, without regard to whether the judgment is rendered before, on, or after the effective date of this Act. SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this Act takes effect September 1, 2005. ______________________________ ______________________________ President of the Senate Speaker of the House I certify that H.B.
