AN ACT
relating to certain reports filed with the bureau of vital statistics. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 194.002(d), Health and Safety Code, is amended to read as follows: (d) Not later than the ninth day of each month, each district clerk shall file with the bureau of vital statistics a completed report for each divorce or annulment of marriage granted in the district court during the preceding calendar month. If a report does not include the information required by Subsection (a)(3) or (4), the clerk must complete that information on the report before the clerk files the report with the bureau. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this Act takes effect September 1, 2005. ______________________________ ______________________________ President of the Senate Speaker of the House I certify that H.B.
