Amend CSSB 1195 (House Committee Report) in SECTION 1 of the 
bill, in proposed Subsection (b), Article 1.06, Code of Criminal 
Procedure (page 1, between lines 17 and 18), by inserting the 
following new Subdivision (2) and renumbering the subsequent 
subdivisions of that section accordingly:
		(2)  conducts a search for weapons based on a reasonable 
fear for the officer's safety or the safety of others;
