Amend CSSB 1 (House committee printing), under the Article XI
items for the Department of State Health Services (page XI-10), by
adding the following rider:
Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Services for
Bandera, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, and Medina Counties. In addition
to amounts otherwise appropriated by this Act, the sum of $205,517
in general revenue is appropriated to the Department of State
Health Services to be used for funding substance abuse prevention
and intervention services by the Hill Country Council on Alcohol
and Drug Abuse or another organization providing those services in
Bandera, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, and Medina Counties during the
state fiscal year beginning September 1, 2005, and the sum of
$205,517 in general revenue is appropriated to the Department of
State Health Services to be used for funding substance abuse
prevention and intervention services by the Hill Country Council on
Alcohol and Drug Abuse or another organization providing those
services in Bandera, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, and Medina Counties
during the state fiscal year beginning September 1, 2006.
