	Amend CSHB 2572 (House committee printing) in Section 
533.035(a), Health and Safety Code, on page 2, line 11, following 
the period, by adding:
	In designating local authorities, the executive commissioner 
may not decrease the number of local mental health authorities or 
local mental retardation authorities from the number that existed 
on January 1, 2005.
