         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 10,  
         2003, the House Committee on Regulated Industries met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative King, at 7:45 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives King; Baxter; Crabb; Guillen (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Hunter; Turner; Wolens (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 2121 
          
         The chair laid out HB 2121 as pending business.  
          
         Representative King offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         Representative Crabb offered an amendment to the committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection. 
          
         The committee substitute, as amended, was adopted without  
         objection. 
          
         Representative Guillen moved that HB 2121, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives King; Baxter; Crabb; Guillen  
                             (4).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representatives Hunter; Turner; Wolens  (3).  
           
         At 7:48 p.m., on the motion of Representative Baxter and without  
         objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the  
         chair.
