         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 7, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Flores, at 8:05 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Flores; Hamilton; Raymond; Driver;  
                   Eissler; Goolsby; Jones, Delwin (7). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Homer; Wise (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair welcomed members and introduced committee staff. 
          
         The chair named the following standing subcommittees and made  
         the following subcommittee assignments: 
          
         Subcommittee on Alcohol Regulation 
         Rep. Delwin Jones, Chair 
         Rep. Richard Raymond 
         Rep. Kino Flores 
          
         Subcommittee on Gaming

         Rep. Miguel Wise, Chair 
         Rep. Mike Hamilton 
         Rep. Rob Eissler 
          
         The chair swore in all witnesses.

         (Representative Homer now present.) 
         The committee received invited testimony from state agencies  
         under its jurisdiction.  (See attached witness list) 
          
         There being no further witnesses or no further business,  the  
         chair moved that the committee stand adjourn.  There being no  
         objection, the Committee on Licensing & Administrative  
         Procedures adjourned at 9:20 a.m.
