The House Committee on Government Reform 78th Legislature March 10, 2003 8:30 a.m. Capitol Extension, E1.026 Pursuant to a notice posted on March 5, 2003, the House Committee on Government Reform met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Swinford, at 8:45 a.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Swinford; Callegari; Casteel; Cook, Robby; Smith, Todd (5). Absent: Representatives Gallego; Allen (2). A quorum was present. HB 898 The chair laid out HB 898 as pending business. Representative Swinford offered a complete committee substitute. The committee substitute was adopted without objection. Representative Cook, Robby moved that HB 898, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote: Ayes: Representatives Swinford; Callegari; Casteel; Cook, Robby; Smith, Todd (5). Nays: None (0). Present, Not Voting: None (0).
