         Committee on Corrections met jointly with the House Committee on  
         Appropriations Subcommittee on Probation and Parole, in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Allen, at 1:12 p.m.

         Committee on Appropriations 
         Present:  Representatives Stick; Ellis; Hope; Kolkhorst (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Turner; McClendon; Berman;  
                   Deshotel(5). 
          
         A quorum was not present.

         At 3:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
