         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 25, 2003, and upon an  
         announcement and motion made in a public hearing on May 5, 2003,  
         and with a time and room change notice posted on May 5, 2003,  
         the House Committee on Redistricting reconvened in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Crabb, at 5:45 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         The motion to adopt the amendment to the substitute and to  
         instruct the committee staff to make changes in Representative  
         King's complete committee substitute to include Representative  
         Luna's map, as well as statistical and legal data as  
         appropriate, prevailed by the following record vote:
