         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 10,  
         2003, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Woolley, at  
         1:05 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Woolley moved to place the following measures:  
          
         on the  Major State Calendar for Monday, April 14, 2003: HB 7;  
         HB 3175; HB 1 and 
          
         on the General State Calendar for Monday, April 14, 2003:  HB  
         1165; HB 1156; HB 1394; and HB 1637. 
          
         Seconded by Representative Turner. 
          
         The motion prevailed by the following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives Woolley; Christian; Hupp;  
                             Menendez; Seaman; Telford; Truitt; Turner   
                             (8).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representative Wohlgemuth; Luna; Madden (3).  
          
         Representative  Woolley  moved that the following measures not  
         be placed on the calendar at this time:  HB 604; HB 31. 
         Seconded by Telford. 
          
         The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

                             Seaman; Telford; Truitt; Turner (7).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 1:07 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
