         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 6, 2004, revised on May 11,  
         2004, and an announcement from the House Floor, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met in a  
         public hearing to discuss Interim Charge #2, Budget Oversight,  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at  
         10:14 a.m.  The House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee  
         on General Government met jointly with The House Appropriations  
         Subcommittee on Interim Charge #3, General Revenue Dedicated  
         Accounts and Accounts Held Outside the Treasury. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pickett; Hamric; Isett; McClendon (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Crownover (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 2:19 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
