         Upon adjournment of the Appropriations Committee public hearing

         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 11, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Pickett, at 1:10 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pickett; Hamric; McClendon (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Crownover; Isett (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005. 
          
         (Representative Crownover now present.)(Representative Isett now  
         present.) 
          
         At 3:07 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 4:30 p.m., March 11, 2003. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 4:33 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Pickett. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pickett; Crownover; Hamric; Isett;  
                   McClendon (5). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005. 
          
         At 5:47 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned.
