         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 18, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Pickett, at 4:05 p.m.          
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pickett; Crownover; Hamric; Isett;  
                   McClendon (5). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
                              
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to review fiscal year 2003 appropriations  
         for all agencies under the jurisdiction of the General  
         Government subcommittee. 
          
         At 8:00 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned.
