         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 7, 2003, revised  
         February 10, 2003, February 12, 2003, and February 13, 2003, the  
         House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met  
         in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Pickett, at 8:09 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Isett (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 11:42 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,

         The committee reconvened at 12:21 p.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Pickett. The roll was answered as  
         follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Hamric; Isett (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.
