         Pursuant to a notice posted on August 2, 2004, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Criminal Justice met in a  
         public hearing to discuss Interim Charge #2, Budget Oversight,  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, at  
         9:03 a.m.
