         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 22, 2004, and an  
         announcement from the House floor on April 27, 2004, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Health & Human  
         Services met in a public hearing to discuss Interim Charge #2,  
         Budget Oversight, and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Davis, John, at 1:08 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Eiland; Wohlgemuth (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.
