The Senate Committee on Health and Human Services will meet on Tuesday,
April 16, 2002, at 9:30 a.m. in the Senate Chamber.

The purpose of the hearing is to take invited and public testimony
regarding the following interim committee charges: welfare related
issues; abuse of prescription painkillers, especially Schedule III
drugs containing hydrocodone; improving the reporting and training
regarding the use of restraints and seclusions; and Texas' Supplemental
Security Income disability determination procedures.
