         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 20, 2002, the House Committee  
         on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Carter, at 10:15 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Elizabeth (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Bailey; Edwards; Ehrhardt; Hill;  
                   Najera (5).

         At 1:38 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
