         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11,  
         2001, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative  
         Procedures met in a formal meeting and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Wilson, at 12:54 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   E.; Reyna, Arthur (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Goolsby; Haggerty; Jones, Delwin; Wise  
                   (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         SB 1145 
          
         The chair laid out SB 1145. 
          
         Representative Wilson moved that SB 1145, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion failed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representative Wilson (1).  
           
         Nays:               Representatives Yarbrough; Flores; Moreno,  
                             Joe E.; Reyna, Arthur (4).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 12:59 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
