         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 18, 2001, the House  
         Committee on Constitutional Revision, Select met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Driver, at 5:02 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Driver; Puente; Lewis, Glenn; Mowery  
                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Bailey; Dutton; Solomons (3). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         The chair laid out HJR 69. 
          
         Representative Puente offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         The chair recognized Representative Junell to explain the  
         measure.

         (Representative Solomons now present.) 
          
         (Representative Dutton now present.) 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Junell to close on the  
         measure.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         The bill was left pending without objection.  
          
         At 5:50 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
