         On April 18, 2001, the House Committee on Civil Practices  
         authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the  
         House Committee on Civil Practices held on April 11, 2001. The  
         following are the corrected minutes for that meeting: 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 6, 2001, then revised on  
         April 11, 2001, and pursuant to an announcement on the floor on  
         April 11, 2001, the House Committee on Civil Practices met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Bosse, at 12:10 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Bosse; Dutton; Hope; Nixon, Joe;  
                   Zbranek (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Janek; Clark; Martinez Fischer;  
                   Smithee (4). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         2836 by request of the author.

         The chair laid out HB 3109 as pending business.  
          
         The chair recognized Representative Dutton to explain the  
         measure.
