         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 25, 2001, the House Committee  
         on Redistricting met in a formal meeting and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Jones, Delwin, at 2:16 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Dunnam; Grusendorf; Hunter; Keel; Luna, Vilma;

         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Grusendorf called a point of order citing Rule 4,  
         Section 10 of the House Rules of the 77th Legislature. 
          
         The chair respectfully overruled the point of order.

         Section 11(b) of the House Rules of the 77th Legislature.

         The chair laid out HB 722. 
          
         Representative Jones, Delwin offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         On motion of Representative Sadler, the committee substitute was  
         adopted by the following record vote:

         Representative Sadler moved that HB 722, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
