         Services, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the  
         chair, Representative Glaze, at 8:19 a.m.

         Absent:   Representative Eiland (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 9:40 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 1:00 p.m., January 31, 2001. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:14 p.m. and was called to order by  
         Representative Glaze. The roll was answered as follows:
