The Subcommittee on Healthcare Technology is charged with studying the
emergence of the Healthcare Technology industry in Texas, as well as
indentifying factors promoting and inhibiting development of the
industry and consider state or private actions potentially effecting
its growth.

The Subcommittee will meet to tour the facilities at the Texas Research
Park, a 1,236 acre cooperative of non-profit, private and university
facilities that will concentrate on cancer research, located at 14815
Omicron Drive, San Antonio.

The Subcommittee will hear from invited testimony only.  However, the
public is welcome to attend and parking is available on site.
