         Pursuant to an annoucement from the house floor on April 13,  
         1999, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the Chair, Representative  
         Ren  Oliveira at 2:16 pm.

         The chair recalled HB 652 from subcommittee.   
          
         Representative Craddick moved that HB 652 be reported  
         favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do  
         pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and  
         Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following  
         vote:

         favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do

         Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following

         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the
