                                CORRECTED MINUTES 
          
         On April 14, 1999, the House Committee on Urban Affairs  
         authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of  
         the House Committee on Urban Affairs held on April 7, 1999.   
         The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting: 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 1, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Bill Carter at  
         2:14 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Carter; Burnam; Clark; Edwards;  
                   Ehrhardt; Hill; Hodge; Najera (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Bailey (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Bailey now present.)   
          
         The chair directed that the March 31, 1999 minutes for the  
         House Committee on Urban Affairs be corrected.  The corrected  
         minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         (Representative Hodge now absent.) 
          
         HB 1260 
          
         The chair recalled HB 1260 from subcommittee.   
          
         The chair recognized Representative Hill to explain the  
         measure.   
          
         Representative Hill offered a complete committee substitute.   
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Hill moved that HB 1260, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:
