CORRECTED MINUTES
On March 22, 1999, the House Committee on State Affairs
authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of
the House Committee on State Affairs held on February 22,
1999. The following are the corrected minutes for that
meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on February 17, 1999, the House
Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the Chair, Representative Steven Wolens at
1:47 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Wolens; Bailey; Brimer; Counts;
Hilbert; Hunter; Jones, Delwin; Longoria; McCall
(9).
Absent: Representatives Turner, Sylvester; Alvarado;
Craddick; Danburg; Marchant; Merritt (6).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 156, HB 595, HB 596, and HB 599.
The chair recognized Representative Maxey to explain HB 595
and HB 596.
