         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3,  
         1999, the House Committee on State Recreational Resources met  
         in a formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Edmund Kuempel at 3:45 pm.

         Representative Davis, John offered an amendment to the  
         measure.   
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection.   
          
         Representative Kuempel offered an amendment to the measure.   
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection.   
          
         Representative Homer offered an amendment to the measure.   
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection.   
          
         Representative Hope offered an amendment to the measure.   
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection.   
          
         Representative Ellis, Dan offered an amendment to the measure.   
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection.   
          
         Representative Davis, John moved that SB 873, as amended, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:
