         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 26,  
         1999, the House Committee on State Recreational Resources met  
         in a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Edmund Kuempel at 2:18 pm.

         The chair laid out SB 627 as pending business.   
          
         Representative Ritter offered an amendment to the measure.   
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection.   
          
         Representative Ellis, Dan moved that SB 627, as amended, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Kuempel; Davis, John; Ellis,  
                        Dan; Homer; Ritter (5). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representatives Cook; Alexander; Crownover;  
                        Hope (4).

         SB 874 
          
         The chair laid out SB 874 as pending business.   
         Representative Cook moved that SB 874 be reported favorably to  
         the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be  
         printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent  
  
         Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Kuempel; Cook; Davis, John;  
                        Ellis, Dan; Homer; Ritter (6). 
          
         Nays:          None (0).

         At 2:22 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
