         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 26,  
         1999, the House Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Sherri Greenberg at 3:15 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Williams (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Tillery; Bonnen; George; Telford  
                   (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HCR 249 
          
         The chair laid out HCR 249.   
          
         Representative Rangel moved that HCR 249 be reported favorably  
         to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and  
         be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Greenberg; Clark; Rangel;  
                        Salinas; Williams (5). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representatives Tillery; Bonnen; George;  
                        Telford (4). 
          
         At 3:18 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
