         Upon lunch recess 
         House Chamber 
          
         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 20,  
         1999, the House Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Sherri Greenberg at 12:45 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Greenberg; Tillery; Bonnen; Clark;  
                   George; Rangel; Salinas; Telford (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Williams (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         SB 1130 
          
         The chair laid out SB 1130 the companion to HB 2520.   
          
         Representative Greenberg offered a complete committee  
         substitute.   
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Salinas moved that SB 1130, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Greenberg; Tillery; Bonnen;  
                        Clark; George; Rangel; Salinas; Telford (8). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representative Williams (1). 
          
         At 12:50 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
