         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 26,  
         1999, the House Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Sherri Greenberg at 2:17 pm.

         The chair laid out HB 3007 as pending business.   
          
         Representative Tillery offered a complete committee  
         substitute.   
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Tillery moved that HB 3007, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Greenberg; Tillery; Bonnen;  
                        Clark; Rangel; Salinas (6). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0).

         The chair laid out HB 2344 as pending business.   
          
         Representative Greenberg offered an amendment to the measure.   
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection.   
          
         Representative Tillery moved that HB 2344, as amended, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:

         The chair laid out SB 1129 this is the companion to HB 2405.   
          
         Representative George moved that SB 1129 be reported favorably  
         to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and  
         be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following vote:
