Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 18,
1999, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative
Procedures met in a formal meeting and was called to order by
the Chair, Representative Ron Wilson at 7:32 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Wilson; Yarbrough; Goolsby; Moreno,
Joe; Palmer; Reyna, Arthur (6).
Absent: Representatives Flores; Haggerty; Jones, Delwin (3).
A quorum was present.
SB 170
The chair laid out SB 170.
This bill was considered in lieu of HB 1364, which was
previously considered in committee.
Representative Wilson explain/closed the measure.
Representative Wilson offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Goolsby moved that SB 170, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Wilson; Yarbrough; Goolsby;
Moreno, Joe; Palmer; Reyna, Arthur (6).
Nays: None (0).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Flores; Haggerty; Jones, Delwin
(3).

The chair laid out SB 1676.
Representative Wilson explained/closed the measure.
Representative Palmer moved that SB 1676 be reported favorably
to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent
Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
