         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 2000, the House  
         Committee on General Investigating met in a joint meeting with  
         the Senate Committee on State Affairs and was called to order by  
         the Chair, Representative Gallego at 10:15 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Gallego; Uher; Eiland; Keel (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Crabb (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Senate Committee on State Affairs was called to order by the  
         Chair, Senator Shapiro at 10:15 a.m. 
          
         The roll for the Senate Committee on State Affairs was answered  
         as follows:

                        Nixon; Lucio; Wentworth (7).
