                                CORRECTED MINUTES 
          
         On April 16, 1999, the House Committee on Environmental  
         Regulation authorized the correction of the minutes for the  
         meeting of the House Committee on Environmental Regulation  
         held on March 15, 1999.  The following are the corrected  
         minutes for that meeting: 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 10, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a public hearing  
         and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Warren  
         Chisum at 2:06 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Chisum; Allen; Howard; Kuempel;  
                   Zbranek (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Culberson; Dukes; Palmer; Talton  
                   (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 1171 
          
         The chair laid out HB 1171.   
          
         Representative Allen offered a complete committee substitute.   
          
         Representative Allen moved that the committee adopt the  
         committee substitute and that HB 1171, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Chisum; Allen; Howard; Kuempel;  
                        Zbranek (5). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representatives Culberson; Dukes; Palmer;

         The chair laid out HB 1172.   
          
         Representative Allen offered a complete committee substitute.   
          
         Representative Allen offered an amendment to the committee  
         substitute.   
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection.   
          
         The chair directed the staff to incorporate the amendment into  
         the committee substitute.   
          
         The committee substitute, as amended, was adopted without  
         objection.

         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the
