Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on April
16, 1999, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a
public hearing and was called to order by the Chair,
Representative Ron Lewis at 8:35 am.

The chair laid out HB 3751 as pending business.
The chair laid out SB 1070, the companion to HB 3751, in lieu
of the house measure.
Representative Merritt moved that SB 1070 be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and
Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following
vote:
