         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 10, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met jointly with the House  
         Committee on Corrections in a public hearing and was called to  
         order by the Chair, Representative Juan Hinojosa at 2:05 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   None (0). 
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The House Committee on Corrections was called to order and  
         took roll.

         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         Texas Juvenile Probation Commission 
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 4:55 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
