A quorum was present. SB1870 The chair laid out SB1870. (Representative Glenn Lewis now present.) The chair recognized Representative Krusee to explain the measure. Representative Farabee moved that SB1870 be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Representatives Ramsay; Lewis, Glenn; Brown, Betty; Farabee; Krusee; Swinford (6). Nays: None (0). Present not Voting: None (0). Absent: Representatives Chisum; Hilderbran; Salinas (3). SJR4 The chair laid out SJR4. (Representative Chisum now present.) The chair recognized Representative Pickett to explain the measure. The chair recognized Representative Najera to explain the measure. The chair recognized Representative Paul Moreno to explain the measure. The chair recognized Representative Pickett to close on the measure. Representative Salinas offered an amendment to the measure. The committee substitute and committee amendment were withdrawn without objection. The bill was left pending without objection. SB995 The chair laid out and explained SB995. Representative Ramsay offered a complete committee substitute. The committee substitute was adopted without objection. Representative Krusee moved that SB995, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.
