Pursuant to a notice posted on May 22, 1999, the House
Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called
to order by the Chair, Representative Barry Telford at 8:30
pm.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Telford; Hilbert; Brimer; Cuellar;
Danburg; McCall; Siebert; Thompson; Turner,
Sylvester (9).
Absent: Representatives Sadler; Dutton (2).
A quorum was present.
The Chair recognized Rep. Turner who moved to set the
following list of bills for the Major State Calendar on
Monday, May 24, 1999: SB5, SB441, SB560, SB1911, SB955,
SB1130; and for the General Calendar on Monday, May 24, 1999:
SB225, SB378, SB480, SB538, SB919, SB1774, SB1461; and for the
Major State Calendar on Tuesday, March 25, 1999: SB1468. The
motion prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Telford; Hilbert; Brimer;
Cuellar; Danburg; McCall; Siebert; Thompson;
Turner, Sylvester (9).
Nays: None (0).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Dutton; Sadler (2).
At 8:32 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
