Pursuant to a notice posted on February 24, 1999, the House
Committee on Business & Industry met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the Chair, Representative Kim Brimer at
2:07 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 1174.
The chair recognized Representative Junell to explain the
measure.
