Pursuant to a notice posted on April 17, 1997, the House
Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the Chair, Representative Fred Hill at 4:15
pm.

The chair laid out SB 804.

Representative Bailey moved that SB 804 be reported favorably
to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
be printed. Representative Burnam seconded the motion. The
motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Hill; Bailey; Burnam; Clark;
Ehrhardt; Hodge; Wohlgemuth (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Garcia; Shields (2).

The chair recognized Representative Clark to explain the
measure.

The chair recognized Representative Isett to close on the
measure.
Representative Clark moved that SB 721 be reported favorably
to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent
Calendars. Representative Wohlgemuth seconded the motion.
The motion prevailed by the following vote:
