Pursuant to a notice posted on March 27, 1997, a revised
notice posted on April 1, 1997, and an announcement from the
House Floor, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a
public hearing and was called to order by the Chair,
Representative Steven Wolens at 2:00 pm.
