         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 7, 1997, the House  
         Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Ron Wilson at 8:40 pm . 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         HB 3435 
          
         The chair laid out HB 3435 as pending business.   
          
         (Representative Torres now present.)   
          
         The chair recognized Representative Kubiak to explain and  
         close on the measure.   
          
         Representative Pickett moved that HB 3435, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:

         Representative Haggerty moved that SB 218, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the
