Pursuant to a notice posted on March 26, 1997, the House
Committee on House Administration met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the Acting Chair, Representative Vilma
Luna at 8:35 am.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Luna, Vilma; Hawley; Maxey; Telford;
Tillery; West, George "Buddy" (6).
Absent: Representatives Goolsby; Alvarado; Bailey; Chisum;
Hamric (5).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 1107.
The chair recognized Representative Telford to explain the
measure.

Testimony was taken.
Representative Telford offered a complete committee
substitute.
The chair recognized Representative Telford to close on the
measure.
Representative Hawley moved that HB 1107, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Luna, Vilma; Hamric; Hawley;
Maxey; Telford; Tillery; West, George "Buddy"

Present not Voting: None (0).
